Ab Croisiere

Having had to book a cruise with AB croisiere, I can fairly say and God is my witness that my request was treated in the best way and it could not be any better. On this occasion I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to Mr Adel whose kindness,availability and professionalism are objecively seen as matchless. I do hope and pray God to allow me once again to have the privilege and the honour to benefit from his services.

I have some advice about booking a cruise with this company—Don’t. We booked a cruise—our first—because three of our parents passed away in less than 3 months. I have never even thought about doing something like a cruise but my parents used to go on them and this was an impulse buy that made me feel like I was doing something they would have loved. We desperately needed something to look forward to. This experience has not been that. It has been an unprofessional and unpleasant experience from the very beginning (except for dealing with Christine in customer service, who was lovely in trying to assist us in fixing some of AB’s mistakes). First, you will be told that the cabin you want is “unavailable” unless you pay an extra €300. You will then have to wait up to 48 hours to see if your reservation is confirmed. Things will get even more screwed up in that time frame because AB will undoubtedly mess up your important details—including spelling of names, emails, birthdates and nationalities, which will require starting the process all over again with the cruise line. So you will not know yet again if you’ve actually reserved and are paying for and going on a cruise. But more importantly, going to the actual cruise website you will see that not only did you NOT have to pay €300 more to get a cabin, the cabin you did get was actually more than five hundred euros LESS than what you’ve been charged. Once you discover that- even if it’s within the same day-- you will not be able to effectively cancel your reservation because you can’t get anyone to confirm for weeks whether there will be a penalty for canceling. If you try and get AB to honor their “price guarantee” they will simply ignore your emails for 6 weeks, while at the same time continuing to mess up your booking details such as nationality, etc, which you will have to spend more time trying to unwind. If you are considering Celebrity or an American based cruise line, I strongly suggest that you either book directly with Celebrity’s website or contact a US-based Travel Agent. Not only will they beat AB’s price, they will provide actual customer service AND additional perks like onboard credit. Even if you’ve reserved with AB, as long as you haven’t made your final payment, you can have your reservation transferred to a US travel agent and have a much more professional experience. The American agent will be able to send you a salesforce link allowing you to transfer your reservation away from AB. Do it. Save yourself the lack of professionalism we’ve been dealing with, pay less and get more.
